Your Work and Business
Develop a Flourishing Business
As a Change Catalyst, having a successful business is an essential component of flourishing — personally, professionally, and financially.
While training emerging and seasoned Change Catalysts for nearly two decades, I’ve seen how my students’ passion for their profession sours when they can’t find a viable way to translate their vision/dream into a flourishing business.
I’ve experienced this kind of disillusionment myself at various times in my own career as a Change Catalyst.
Each time I experienced a gap in my passion or felt frustrated with my business results, I would invest in programs – webinars, workshops, retreats, and coaching programs – to learn how to develop my emerging work and grow my established business.

The Mainstream Approach
Along the way I discovered that the strategies and tactics I learned in Mainstream business courses, coaching programs, and workshops were not producing the results that I wanted and needed.
While sorting through my own experiences and insights I gleaned from conversations with colleagues and clients, I realized the Mainstream Approach to developing and building a business is not a good match for me or for the Change Catalysts I work with.
As I started developing my current business in 2016, I spent a lot of time unwinding the spoken and unspoken rules, milestones, and mindsets that had been drilled into my head during years of Mainstream Business courses and coaching. I knew I couldn’t be in business again if it meant that I had to do things that were out of sync with my values or forced me to be out of integrity with my clients. I no longer cared that according to the Mainstream Approach I was doing it “wrong”!

The Organic Way
Even now, if I find myself considering a business practice that makes my skin crawl or my stomach turn, I pause to discern what is out of alignment for me. Then I develop my own patterns and policies that align with my values, my sense of integrity, and my natural style.
As I share this approach with my business mentoring clients, they note how refreshing it feels to create their work and grow their business in ways that reflect their personal style, their professional interests, and their clients’ needs and desires.
Through using, sharing, and experimenting with this gentle, encouraging approach, I’ve created an Organic Way to Develop a Flourishing Business that provides guidance and support to Change Catalysts who are just starting their business and those who are seasoned and looking to re-imagine their work and business.
In brief, the Organic Way is a natural way of creating a viable business that supports your clients in transition in ways that align with your values, express your unique style and expertise, and create meaningful results for you and those you work with.
Imagine developing your work with clients and growing your business with gentle, respectful, and encouraging support that meets you right where you are with a framework that strengthens the roots of your work to support the growth you envision for your business.
