A Mentoring Service For
Seasoned Change Catalysts

You’ve had some successes with your business.

You have been enjoying the work you do.

And yet, something just doesn’t feel right to you.

Before you attempt to amp up your marketing efforts to “fix” what’s not working,
it’s essential to clarify the root of your discomfort.

When you feel out of sync with your business, there’s usually a mismatch, an inconsistency, or a gap that you aren’t aware of yet. You may resonate with one or more of these common scenarios:

Scenario 1: You Love What You Do, And You Would Like More Paying Clients

Before you jump straight into updating your approach to marketing, invest a few weeks in firming up your business foundation. When you don’t feel confident about your work, your offers, and your pricing, you naturally hold back when it comes to your outreach and marketing.

Scenario 2: You Have a Variety of Services That You Want to Turn into a More Cohesive Set of Offerings

You’ve been in business long enough that you have created a number of programs, workshops, and services that represent different eras of your business. You aren’t sure how to streamline or categorize your array of offerings. If you are unclear about how your offers fit together, it’s possible your clients and colleagues are confused about what you do. Nothing you’ve tried feels right to you. It’s frustrating to have so much to offer, without seeing a way to share it more effectively.

Scenario 3: You Are Feeling Out of Sync with Your Work and Your Marketing

Something doesn’t feel right to you about the work you are doing or the marketing strategies you are using. There are so many moving parts in a business, it’s often difficult to get to the source of your discomfort. By stepping back a bit to look at the big picture of your life and business, you have a better chance of seeing what is out of sync and how to feel clearer, more confident, and more comfortable with your work, business, and life.

Scenario 4: You Are Feeling Called to Create an Original Body of Work

You have worked with clients for some time and you see that you have a unique approach to supporting them through the scenario they are facing. You are ready to pull together your ideas into an original body of work, but the process makes you a bit uncomfortable. You aren’t sure how to get started or what to do when you feel blocked.

Scenario 5: Your Life Has Shifted and Your Current Business Is Not Flowing

In the last year your life has shifted significantly — a change in your relationship, your own health, your care-giving responsibilities for your children, spouse, or parents, your in location, your personal identity. Your priorities or dreams may have changed. As a result, you and your business are not in sync. Perhaps it’s time to re-envision how your life and your business work together.

Sometimes getting to the heart of this disconnect with your business is the trickiest part of the process, and you may be too close to your business to see what’s out of sync and to find new ways to refine and strengthen your business.

Let’s talk it through to see what we can discover together!

By taking a few hours to revisit various aspects of your work and your business, you discover a new perspective where you can see opportunities to refine, realign, evolve, and strengthen your understanding of your work and your impact on your clients. Sometimes a small shift opens up a new path that feels far more inviting and hopeful to pursue.

“Carol guided me as I redefined and updated my focus. We worked together to make sure my services and message felt authentic to me. She has the ability to hear the words that were most relevant and unique to me. As a coach herself, Carol understands and knows how to describe the benefits of coaching.

Now I speak with a new level of conviction and clarity about what I can offer my clients. I was also able to rework my website so that it more accurately conveys my unique gifts. I highly recommend working with Carol. She helped reinvigorate both my business and me personally.”

Having had a business for over 11 years, that I created, developed, and sold, I understand just how essential it is to have a strong foundation built on a clear focus and a clear message. I grew that company quickly because I was so clear.

But as I was transitioning from the release of this first business into the next iteration of my work, I was struggling with the clarity about the focus of my new work and who I was serving. I was feeling so frustrated! How I had always defined my ideal client and how I communicated my message was no longer working for me because it didn’t fit with how I had evolved, but I couldn’t figure out why or what to do differently.

After wasting so much time on my own trying to figure it out, I decided to hire Carol to help draw my focus out of me. I am so grateful for her help. She was able to hone in on what my issue was, to help me see in greater detail how my work and who I was serving had evolved, and then to put it all together to see the bigger picture of how everything fits together.

I really enjoyed the process of working with Carol and appreciated her ability to see behind the issues and draw out what was most important. Clarity of focus is a KEY first step in growing your business so if you are having trouble articulating what you do in a meaningful way that resonates with you, get the help! It’s so worth it. Your growth depends on it!

I am feeling so excited about having clarity so I can now move onto the next phase of development and onto honoring my purpose.
